

Jackson’s Pride Fest is coming back! This years event will be the first EVER publicly attended Pride event in Jackson, Tennessee’s history!
We have secured our venue… Conger Park (Highland Park).
This will be a HUGE event, with at least 1,000 people in attendance.

What is Jackson PRIDE Fest?
Jackson PRIDE Fest is a family friendly festival with lots of performers such as musicians, comedians, and some unusual acts as well as artisans.
PRIDE Fest celebrates the diversity of our community and serves as a reminder of the struggles that have been overcome to get us where we are today.
Where will PRIDE Fest be located?
Conger Park (Formerly Highland Park) in Jackson, TN. (Next to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital).

How can I get involved in PRIDE Fest?
We have many ways for people to be involved in PRIDE Fest. We still have GREAT need of the following items (Each item is a link):

Where will pride fest be located?

This new venue seemed like a much better fit to what we need than the venue we were going to use (The AMP).
Will tents/chairs/tables be supplied for vendors?
No. We had some available, but they are now all spoken for.
Is electricity available to vendors?
Yes, on the Vendor Page, we have prices available for each type of Tent. Electricity will be limited. First come, first pay, first serve.
Can I share a booth with another vendor?
Yes. You will pay for the space, and simply tell us the two vendors that will be using that space. Vendor Application Link
Who runs Equality Jackson and Pride Fest?
Equality Jackson is a Volunteer Board Run Organization for the benefit of the LGBTQIA+ Community.
PRIDE Fest is a Volunteer Run Fundraiser and Program for Equality Jackson.
What volunteers positions do you need for PRIDE Fest?
Volunteers get in FREE! We need volunteers for the following services during PRIDE Fest:
Assistant Volunteer Coordinator: Go-To Person for the Volunteer Coordinator. Make sure everyone in in their places.
Bag Check (Part of Security Team): Ensure we have a safe PRIDE Fest by making sure that no weapons enter the park.
Clean Up Crew: Keep trash picked up. Empty trash cans. Clean up park after PRIDE Fest.
Children’s Area: Staff the children’s area. Direct children. Be personable and fun.
FIRST-AID Tent: Help people with sanitary and medical related issues at our FIRST-AID Tent.
Merchandise: Staff our merchandise tent and sell PRIDE Fest Swag.
Parking Assistants: Help people park to make best use of all parking spaces. When the closer lots are full, direct traffic to correct locations, and direct people to the main gates for entry.
Photography: We have an official photographer, but need photographers assistants.
Registration/Ticket Sales: Provide tickets to people that are paying at the gate. Let people pass that have digital tickets.
Set Up and Tear Down: Show up before PRIDE Fest to set up everything. Show up after PRIDE Fest to tear everything down.
Security: Walk around and greet people. Assist with disputes. Call Authorities when needed.
Stage Hands: Report to Entertainment Coordinator and help entertainers move gear on and off stage.
Usher: Greet people as they join us at PRIDE Fest.
Videographer: Take promotional and event video of PRIDE Fest.
Runners/Floaters: People that can move from job to job, as told by the Volunteer Coordinator or Assistant Volunteer Coordinator.
Do volunteers get in free?
YES! All volunteers gain FREE access to PRIDE Fest.
Will there be food at the festival?
Yes. We will have food trucks and some vendor tents with snacks and drinks.
Will there be PRIDE Fest merchendise available?
At our current point, our plan is yes. There are a few hurdles we have to jump for this to happen.
What bands are going to be playing/What is the schedule?
Bands are to be determined at this moment.
Will there be alcohol?
No. In an effort to keep our festival as family friendly as possible, we have decided to forgo having alcohol available for purchase this year.
How do I receive or use my ticket?
Digital purchase location is still to be determined. One you are able to preorder online, you can print your ticket, or show us a digital copy of your ticket. We will give you a wrist band.

If you purchase your ticket at the gate, a wrist band will be given upon purchase.
Do you need a photographer or videographer?
Absolutely! We have a photographer, but they need to work with other awesome photographers to get lots of photos.
We still need a good videographer.
Will there be security at PRIDE Fest?
Yes. Security will be a mix of volunteers, security personnel, and uniformed and plain clothed law enforcement.
Will Drag Queens be at PRIDE Fest?
Official Drag Queens and a Drag Show are still to be detemined.
If you would like to show up in drag as a volunteer, please contact us.
If you simply want to show up in drag, as a non-volunteer, feel free to do so.
I’m interested in performing in PRIDE Fest. How do I go about joining in?
Please contact us from our Contact Page and we will get you in contact with our Entertainment Coordinator.
Can I be a silent sponsor or donor?
Yes, we understand those that want to help our cause, but cant publicize it.
Just contact Equality Jackson and we will work with what you would like to do.
Can I donate a gift instead of funds?
Yes! Contact Us and let us know what you plan to give. I am sure we can use it.
